- This is a Request for Information (RFI). This Request is for planning purposes, and shall not be construed as a solicitation announcement, invitation for bids, request for proposals, request for quotes, or an indication that the Government will contract for the items contained in this notice. Interested contractors are invited to provide responses to the questions provided. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with the submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to the interested parties for responses. This Request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. The information provided may be used by the Army in developing its acquisition strategy, statement of work / performance work statements, and/or statement of objectives. Interested parties are responsible to adequately mark proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response accordingly. Purpose:� The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment and ACC-RI are requesting a review of the attached PWS for a potential Global Protective Services (GPS) Program. Objective: The objective of the RFI is to gather input and recommendations to improve the PWS in terms of clarity and completeness, obtain information on the feasibility of the requirement, and suggested improvements to best practices that can improve the overall quality of the PWS. Please provide your feedback on the following questions: 1.������ Compliance: Can your organization provide proof of compliance with the most current version of ANSI/ASIS PSC.1�2022, American National Standard, Management System for Quality of Private Security Company Operations�Requirements with Guidance or the International Standard ISO 18788, Management System for Private Security Operations�Requirements with Guidance? Does your organization have and maintain a U.S. SECRET or TOP- SECRET facilities clearance?� 2.������ Industry Day: NOTE: This is not an industry day announcement. However, would your company be interested in attending an industry day in the NoVA/Washington DC area in late January 2024 (date and time to be determined)? If your answer is in the affirmative, how many people would you anticipate your organization would like to bring to the event? 3.������ PWS: When providing feedback, please provide the specific PWS section number along with the following, as applicable: -������������� Detailed description of the requested edit or clarification. -������������� Explanation of the rationale for the requested change. -������������� Suggested alternate wording or changes, as applicable. 4.������ General understanding: Can you provide feedback on your overall understanding of the draft PWS? Are there any aspects of the PWS that are unclear? If your answer is in the affirmative, please provide detailed and specific feedback. 5.������ Technical capability: Based on the Draft PWS, do you believe your organization has the technical capabilities to meet the requirements outlined in the PWS in multiple OCONUS locations simultaneously? If your answer is in the affirmative, please provide support for your assertion that your organization can meet the requirements. 6.������ Feasibility: Does your organization find the requirements outlined in the PWS feasible from a technical and operational standpoint? Please provide detailed support for your response, regardless of whether it is affirmative or negative. 7.������ Overall: In your organization�s opinion, what elements are currently absent from, and should be added to, the Global Protective Services Program? Submission: Please submit your organization�s comprehensive, detailed and specific feedback with suggested enhancements for the draft PWS included in this RFI by e-mail to usarmy.ria.acc.mbx.gps@army.mil no later than 0900 CST on 1 December 2023.
