- GAOA HMF Historic Iargo Springs Stair and Boardwalk Renovation 44.44218755762312, -83.67407977781525 This project consists of site improvements to the Iargo Springs Interpretive Site. The existing vault toilet buildings will be removed and replaced. The existing information kiosk will be removed and replaced with new interpretive signage panels. The existing wood stair, from the upper parking area to the lower boardwalk, will be removed and replaced. The upper observation overlook decking will be removed and replaced. Select areas of the lower boardwalk will also be removed and replaced with at grade pathways, and new elevated boardwalk loops will be constructed across Cooke Dam Pond. Project is located in Iosco County, Michigan. The period of performance of this project is scheduled from January 2, 2024, through September 27, 2024. Magnitude of construction is estimated as between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 Solicitation anticipated to be posted on or around 5 December 2023.
