Description
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a single source. The proposed source is Agiliti Health, Incorporated, 6625 W. 78th Street, Suite 300, Minneapolis, MN 55439-2650. This acquisition is for non-personal services for preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on designated Government-owned medical equipment in support of the Naval Hospital Jacksonville, FL. The designated medical equipment includes sterilizers, washers, ophthalmology equipment, optometry equipment, stress test systems, ventilators, laboratory equipment, tissue processing, and tissue embedding devices. Services includes preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on designated Government-owned medical equipment. The Contractor shall provide equipment maintenance services to include all periodic planned maintenance and unscheduled repairs, in accordance with original equipment manufacturer�s (OEM) specifications and in compliance with ISO 9001 standards, to include repairs necessitated by operator error. Upon completion of each preventive maintenance visit and each corrective maintenance visit, Field Service Engineers must submit a signed service report, in English, to the COR and Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) Technical Liaison (TL) for data entry into DMLSS. Field Service Engineers shall be authorized by the OEM-certified service vendor to perform the required maintenance services. The Contractor shall ensure that all Field Service Engineers possess current OEM-certification level training on all designated Government-owned medical equipment. Field Service Engineers shall have sufficient experience to demonstrate proficiency in maintenance of the Government-owned product(s). In addition, the Contractor shall ensure that all Field Service Engineers possess the ability to perform corrective software updates and/or upgrades in accordance with OEM and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recall notices and are in possession of legally licensed diagnostic software necessary for rapid, efficient, and effective maintenance. Maintenance provided shall include unlimited telephone support (24-hours, 7 days a week), to include preventive maintenance and inspections, corrective maintenance tasks, and unlimited emergency responses by the Contractor�s Field Service Engineers for all medical equipment. All maintenance provisions shall apply to hardware, firmware, and software, as appropriate, unless otherwise stated. The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, materials, travel, personnel, supervision, and freight shipping for the scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance of all designated Government-owned medical equipment. For products or systems which have received Authority to Operate (ATO) from DHA Health Information Technology (HIT), the vendor shall agree to be proactive in working with the DHA to mitigate new threats as they emerge. Vulnerability mitigation strategies include security updates, service packs, and changes to operating procedures as physical and cyber vulnerabilities are detected. Operating systems, servers, development platforms, and the application being delivered to Naval Hospital Jacksonville shall be in compliance with all known applicable guidelines. The vendor shall maintain the system(s) in operational condition with the latest vendor-validated and approved security patches.��
