- Page 3 of 38 This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for Industry Day Announcement and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for Customized Power Wheelchair. Furthermore, the U.S. Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this special notice. All information received in response to this RFI, that is marked as proprietary, will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. An Industry Day has been scheduled for January 23-25, 2024, at the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Orlando, Florida. The exact address will be provided after receipt of all participants. In order to prevent duplication of product presentations, this event is limited to manufactures or their designated distributor. Registration for this Industry Day is required. Company Name and Contact Information Customized Power Wheelchair Models Company Business Size for NAICS Code 339113 Manufacturer or Distributor. (If Distributor, provide the manufacturer) Current General Supply Administration (GSA) or Federal Supply Schedule Contract (FSS) (information should be for Group 3 and 4 only) Each company will be given a time slot to present the customized power wheelchair models to the Government team. This must comply with the Minimum Technical Requirements (MTR) for Group 3 and 4 customized power wheelchairs build which is below in this RFI. They must comply with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS), and RESNA Wheelchair Standards. Additional event details (agenda, presentation times, specific venue information, etc.) will be sent directly to all companies who register for this Industry Day.
