- Description
- The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the personal services for Deployment-Related Health Assessment (DRHA) / Annual Mental Health Assessment (MHA) Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Services for the 51st Medical Group, at Osan Air Base, Korea.� The FNP shall conduct all duties of the FNP following all terms, conditions, general and special provisions, specifications, and attachments contained herein or incorporated by reference.� In addition to the education, certification, and experience listed in the basic contract and in the position description, the FNP shall perform deployment-related health assessments and annual mental health assessments that comply with applicable Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force policy and guidance, to include required standards of care and clinical practice guidelines. Additionally, the FNP must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and must become proficient in the use of the following computer systems: Composite Health Care Systems (CHCS), Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS), and the electronic medical record systems that may eventually replace these computer systems.� Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements contained in this performance-based work statement.� All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles, and ethics of the FNP profession and applicable professional specialty organizations. Required qualifications include, but are not limited to: Education:� Must possess a Masters in Nursing Degree by a national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. Licensure/Certification/Registration:� Must possess a valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) from one of the 50 United States, and/or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or territories of the United States. The contractor must be in good standing, and under no restrictions, or investigations with the state in which a license is held or has been held, or the national licensure board, within the past 10 years. At a minimum, the provider must maintain current certification in either the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) (Course C) or the American Red Cross BLS Course as required by AFI 44-102, Community Health Management, Tables 1.1 through 1.6.� The MTF will provide BLS refresher courses at no cost to the contractor. Experience:� A resume that reflects at least three (3) years of total nursing experience including one (1) year of FNP within the last 5 years.� The offeror shall provide evidence of prior experience in following format: -�������������� The title of the contract/project -�������������� A brief description of work completed -�������������� Name of the Client Organization or Requiring Activity -�������������� Period of contract/project (year/month/date � year/month/date) -�������������� Complete name of point of contact at the Client Organization -�������������� Phone number of the POC of the Client/RA English for Non-Native Speakers: Contract personnel shall have proficiency in English both orally and written. �English proficiency shall be verified through submittal of a TOEIC score greater than or equal to 850. This requirement is for a one-year period of performance 1 March 2024 � 28 February 2025, plus the FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.� The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 621399 and the annual size standard is $10M.� This solicitation package will be available on the SAM.gov website (http://SAM.gov/) approximately in November 2023.� No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.� The Contracting Officer is Ms. Kanoe Sing-Ching, (808) 438-5135, kanoelani.c.singching.civ@health.mil, and the Contract Specialist is Ms. Charis K. NOTICE TO OFFERORS All sources may submit a quote as applicable.� However, the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), may preclude the U.S. Government from granting Invited Contractor or Technical Representative Status to any offeror, for this requirement.� All sources submitting a quote, including U.S. sources, must already have OR confirm their ability to obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the ROK Government, and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws, including but not limited to, rules and policies regarding labor, taxation, and immigration.� If an initial quote does not fully demonstrate this authorization and capacity, it will not be further considered for award. Whether an offeror demonstrates this authorization and capacity shall be determined by the Contracting Officer.
