- Description
- Spangdahlem Airbase requires Patient Liaison and Medical Translation Services for eligible TRICARE beneficiaries. The Patient Liaison shall provide support to, and serve as the link for communication between, the patient, the MTF, and host nation facilities and other services in the local German health care system for inpatient stays and outpatient referral appointments. The Patient Liaison shall visit patients hospitalized in host nation facilities within a 45-mile radius of Spangdahlem AB including but not limited to Marienhausklinik (Bitburg), Verbundkrankenhaus (Wittlich), Krankenhaus der Barmherigen Brueder (Trier), and Klinikum Mutterhaus der Borromaerrinnen (Trier). The Patient Liaison (2 FTE) will provide service at the MTF and travel to all host nation facilities as necessary. The Medical translator (1 FTE) will provide service at the MTF. Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in this performance work statement (PWS), and professional standards of The Joint Commission (JC). The Contractor shall provide both Patient Liaison and Medical Translation services required for eligible health care beneficiaries as scheduled by the Government for 852d Medical Squadron /Geilenkirchen NATO Air Base (AB), Germany, also referred to as the �Medical Treatment Facility� (MTF) herein. The Patient Liaison (1.5 FTE) shall provide support to, and serve as the link for communication between the patient, the MTF, and host nation facilities, and other services in the local German and/or Dutch health care system for emergencies, inpatient stays, and outpatient referral appointments. Performance for both Patient Liaison and Medical Translation services shall be according to the requirements contained in this Performance Work Statement (PWS), and professional standards of The Joint Commission (JC) and Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA). The contract employee assigned to translator duties shall not be the same contract employee(s) assigned to patient liaison duties. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the offeror whose offer conforming to the Solicitation will be most advantageous to the government. The government will evaluate quotes based on past performance, price, technical acceptability, Conformity to the solicitation and other factors considered. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. To be considered for award, all quotes must be submitted in English and be received no later than 27 November 2023, 9:00 am EST. Quotes shall only be sent via e-mail to judith.s.meynard.ctr@health.mil. Hard-copy quotes will not be accepted. It is the quoter's responsibility to confirm the timely receipt of the quotes by the POC above. Questions concerning this RFQ shall be submitted electronically via e-mail to the above POCs no later than November 09, 2023 9:00 am EST. Questions solicited by any other method will not be considered.
