- Description
- The purpose of this Amendment No. 01 is to: 1. Provide answers to questions received in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 72036723R00008�USAID Health Learning; and 2. Revise RFP No. 72036723R00008. All changes made to the revised RFP are highlighted in yellow. All other terms of the RFP remain unchanged. ******** The United States Government (USG), represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development Mission to Nepal (USAID/Nepal) seeks proposals from�Local�organizations�(as defined in Section 7077 of the FY 2012 Appropriations Act, as carried forward by the FY 2013 Continuing Resolution, and as amended by Section 7028 of the FY 2014 Appropriations Act) operating in Nepal to provide services as detailed in the RFP for USAID Health Learning. This is a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type contract with a period of performance of 5 Years. USAID anticipates the award of one contract resulting from this solicitation. This program will assist USAID/Nepal's Health Office and its implementing partners (IPs) in adopting rigorous and systematic monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) activities for adaptive activity management, and to advance broader organizational learning and development efforts. Interventions under the USAID Health Learning activity will support the monitoring and evaluation of health activities that align with USAID/Nepal�s Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) 2020-2025, particularly� Development Object Three, which aims to strengthen inclusive health and education systems. Under this activity, a wide range of technical assistance will be provided to USAID/Nepal�s Health Office, its IPs, and local MERL organizations. The areas of support will primarily focus on: design and implementation of surveys, assessments, and research; knowledge management; and MERL capacity building of USAID/Nepal Health Office supported local organizations and Government of Nepal (GON) institutions to improve data management and use at the provincial and municipal levels. This activity will support and work with USAID/Nepal�s Health Office and its IPs, USAID/Nepal�s monitoring evaluation and learning contract, �USAID Learning for Development,� in coordination and collaboration with the respective Contracting /Agreement Officer�s Representatives and Activity Managers.
