Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source open market purchase order to include four (4) option years to Leica Microsystems, Inc., 10 Parkway North, Suite 300, Deerfield, IL 60015 for a preventative maintenance service requirement of a Leica Microscope (See section B.2.4) in Research, Bldg. 20., at the Buffalo VA Medical Center located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215. This service maintenance requirement shall include annual on-site preventative maintenance, unlimited service visits by qualified field service engineers, unlimited replacement parts, unlimited access to expert technical support, and software updates. Equipment Name Leica Microscope model SPE-II DMI4000 RYBV Equipment No. 11164191 Serial No. 11888905 NAICS code is 811210 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the Classification code is J065 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Supplies with a Small Business Size Standard of $34 million. THIS IS NOT A NOTICE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notice prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due on 12/04/2023 at 10:00am EST.
