- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs Bath VAMC intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole-Source action to: Name of Contractor: Haun Specialty Gases Street Address: 5921 Court Street Rd City, State, Zip: Syracuse, NY 13206 For the below 1500 Gallon Medical tank that is an existing O2 tank on the VA Bath hospital property 1500 Gallon Bulk Station Medical Final Line Assembly (Reserve system) 3K Ambient Vaporizer Exisiting Bulk System: This notice of intent to sole source with justification satisfies the public posting requirements of FAR 13.501. This notice is not a request for quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels.
