Description

Notification of Sole Source Procurement.� In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to limit sources to Signage Systems as the contractor to provide interior signage throughout the facilities covered under the Phase 2 renovation of the VA Canandaigua Medical Center.� Though a contract will not be awarded directly to Signage Systems by the Government, they will become the required signage provider for the project, via Modification to the prime contractor. Signage Systems has previously provided interior signage on the Medical Center campus.� The intent with the interior signage throughout the campus is that it will be interchangeable and consistent from building to building.� It is not uncommon that staff and even entire medical units are relocated from building to building on the medical campus, and these units need to bring their door signs with them.� For this to be possible, the colors and dimensions of the signage must be consistent throughout the campus. The plastic room signs slide into extruded aluminum backing plates which are fastened to the walls, and for interoperability the extruded aluminum plates must also be consistent across the campus. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the agency.� The submission must be received no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time on 15 December 2023 to Michael.D.Hutchens@usace.army.mil� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL..� ��
