- N0016423RJM46 �� SOLE SOURCE - SPARES AND ASSEMBLIES SUPPORTING THE SHEDS/LiFT BATTERY SYSTEMS � FSC 6140 - NAICS 335910 Issue Date: 19 Dec 2022 � Closing Date: 09 JAN 2023 Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract on a sole source basis to General Atomics, 3550 General Atomics Ct, San Diego, CA, 92121.� The solicitation will be issued for spare parts, assemblies, and incorporated software for life cycle support of the SHEDS/LiFT battery systems installed and operated on various manned dry submersibles. �The minimum contract award amount is $500,000 with a maximum contract award amount of $8,100,000.� Various quantities may be ordered over the five-year life of the contract.� Delivery terms are FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination.� The anticipated award date is 30 June 2023. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis in accordance with Statutory Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The basis for restricting competition is the duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source.� All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quote, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive controlled attachments. No solicitation will be issued due to the sole source nature of the procurement.� A draft contract will be sent to General Atomics.� The anticipated award date is now 31 March 2024.� The closing date has been changed from 1/9/2023 to 12/15/2023.� The contract opportunity has been updated to reflect the new FY24 and the opportunity will now be N0016424RJM46.
