Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West, intends to award a sole source contract with Cerus Corporation for INTERCEPT Pathogen Platelet Kits for government owned equipment, under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) Only one source reasonably available (e.g, urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization), for William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas. The sole source contract will have a period of performance is 01 January 2024� 30 September 2028. The NAICS code 325413, size standard is 1,250 employees. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements. The solicitation number is W81K00-24-Q-0017 and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 5 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Points of contact are Mr. Darryl O.
