- Sources Sought and Pre-Notification of Industry Day Request for Industry Input: Background: The Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) is seeking industry input to aid in the development of a Performance Work Statement (PWS) related to events planning. The objective is to establish industry standards that will guide the procurement process for lodging, meals and shuttle services required during various events organized by the 99th Readiness Division (RD) YRRP. Purpose: The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to identify potential industry partners who can provide valuable insights, expertise, and recommendations to ensure that the forthcoming PWS aligns with industry best practices and standards. By seeking industry input early in the process, the YRRP aims to foster collaboration and gather diverse perspectives to enhance the effectiveness of the PWS. Key Objectives: Industry Standards: Solicit input on recognized industry standards and best practices for events lodging services. Identify key performance indicators that reflect industry expectations for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Innovative Solutions: Encourage suggestions for innovative solutions that can enhance the overall events lodging experience. Seek input on technologies or practices that can optimize cost-effectiveness and sustainability. Regulatory Compliance: Obtain insights on regulatory requirements and compliance considerations relevant to events lodging services. Ensure that the PWS aligns with legal and regulatory frameworks governing the hospitality industry. Contracting Mechanisms: Explore different contracting mechanisms that promote fair competition and foster a competitive marketplace. Seek recommendations on contract performance metrics and incentives that encourage optimal service delivery. Instructions for Industry Responses: Interested industry stakeholders are invited to submit responses addressing the following: Overview of your organization, including relevant experience in providing events lodging services. Recommendations on industry standards, best practices, and key performance indicators for events lodging. Innovative solutions and technologies that can improve events lodging services. Insights on regulatory compliance and considerations for events lodging services. Suggestions for contracting mechanisms and performance metrics to ensure optimal service delivery. Submission Deadline: All responses must be submitted no later than 3 PM EST 15 December 2023. Preliminary 99th RD YRRP Industry Day Information: The 99th RD YRRP is hosting an Industry Engagement Day on Wednesday, 24 January 2024 in Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. The Industry Day will provide a venue for the 99th RD YRRP to discuss its mission, goals and contracting opportunities for upcoming Yellow Ribbon events. �There will be plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas, to have open dialogs, and to create networking opportunities. The 99th RD YRRP provides support to the Warfighter through congressionally mandated initiatives designed to provide information, services, referrals, and proactive outreach programs to Reserve Component Service members and their Families through all phases of the deployment cycle. The overall objective of the program is to prepare and sustain Service members and their Families before and after their mobilization. The geographical area of contracting operations these events extends throughout the Northeast. � The intent of this engagement is to specifically address the following: COMMUNICATE upcoming contracting opportunities including an in-depth overview of upcoming IDIQ contract for Yellow Ribbon events. ENGAGE with industry to find ways to increase contractor interest and intrigue on future contracting pursuits. LISTEN to industry feedback on things we can do to improve. Improve EXECUTION speed by relying more on current industry standards and processes. Who Should Attend:� Any contractors interested in contracting and subcontracting opportunities with 99th RD YRRP providing lodging, meeting spaces, meals, and parking.
