- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs East Orange VAMC intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source FSS contract action Name of Contractor: MacGyver Solutions, Inc Street Address: PO Box 3906 City, State, Zip: Pinehurst, NC 28374 USA The objective of this action is the procurement for: Police service is requesting a Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 Brand Name only UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle) for use in the support of the inclement weather events as this past winter shut down roads to all vehicles. With this vehicle being equipped with a track system, will give Police the ability to still respond when roads are not passable with wheeled vehicles. With the increase in traffic in the parking lot and parking garage and extended hours of operations. Staff needs to navigate through the traffic pushing a gurney, and with the inclement weather the UTV would be used to respond to medical emergency and police response to the tent and surrounding area.
