Description

THIS IS� A NOTICE TO SOLE SOURCE�� The US Army Parachute Team (USAPT) of Fort Liberty, NC requires new and/or renewal USPA membership licenses, certifications and ratings for 64 members of the USAPT. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular (AC) 105-2E dated 4 December 2013 recognizes USPA as the accepted, nationally recognized skydiving organization that licenses skydivers in the United States. Market research supports that USPA is the only responsible source able to meet the government�s requirement for FAA accepted memberships, licenses, certifications and ratings. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.302-1, there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement.� The MICC - Ft Knox intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract, on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to the U.S. Parachute Association to support the USAPT. The anticipated award date is 1 January 2024 with a 12-month base and four 12-month option periods. Point of Contact (POC) for this notice is Rodrique O.
