- Description
- NASA/JSC has a requirement for State Space Corporation �ROSCOSMOS� (Roscosmos) to provide support services for NASA personnel with regard to their support of the Soyuz 71S and 72s as well as Progress 87P, 88P, 89P, and 90P launches in 2024. The services above include providing transportation from Moscow, Russia to Baikonur, Kazakhstan, as well as providing security services, document clearances, lodging, and meals for NASA personnel. NASA/JSC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire these services from Roscosmos. These services address logistic requirements for NASA personnel to be present in an administratively closed city in Kazakhstan whereby Roscosmos is the only authority that can allow access. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Kelsey Klinger at Kelsey.j.klinger@nasa.gov not later than 4:30 PM Central Time on December 18, 2023.� Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.� A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
