- Department of Veterans Affairs RFI/DEMO: Accreditation Management and Certification Management This Request for Information (RFI)/Demonstration Request (DEMO) is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations, or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI/DEMO. Your response to this RFI/DEMO will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI/DEMO and no funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the VA in developing its acquisition strategy and Performance Work Statement. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Nothing in this document should be considered binding or in any way obligate VA to perform. Information obtained from this RFI/DEMO will be used within the VA and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. This RFI consists of two parts. The first is the Written submission in which interested organizations should submit the following: Your organization's capability to provide an Accreditation Management and Certification Management (AMCM) solution that spans the requirements of the healthcare industry, the financial industry, Government, professional organizations, and VA-specific professions. Request Company information to include Company Name CAGE/UEI Number under which the company is registered in SAM.gov, Company Address, Point of contact name, Telephone Number, and Email address. No more than 10- pages. Mark your response as Proprietary Information if the information is considered business sensitive. NO MARKETING MATERIALS ARE ALLOWED AS PART OF THIS RFI. The Government will not review any other information or attachments included, that are in excess of the 10-page limit. The Government will not review generic marketing materials that do not address the information contained herein or the attached documents. The second part of this RFI consists of a live virtual Demonstration. All interested parties submitting written responses to this RFI as per the above will receive an invitation for conducting a DEMO. DEMOs are tentatively scheduled during the week of January 15th, 2024, via Microsoft Teams. DEMOs will be a recorded event and limited to a maximum of two hours. The Government audience is expected to consist of roughly 30 subject matter experts and leadership personnel. The goal of the RFI/DEMO is to determine industry's ability to meet the below listed capabilities. Interested parties are not restricted to only demonstrate the below and are encouraged to demonstrate their full AMCM capabilities. Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) Accreditation activity reporting process for accrediting organizations such as Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) AMCM solution s ability to store past and current Continuing Education (CE) certificates for at least 7 years. Generating reports on all accredited activities to include learner, supervisor, completion, evaluation, and accreditation source. Management of internal and external, clinical, and non-clinical accreditations Accreditation activity reporting process with external institutions AMCM s capability to manage reminders. Capability for Accreditation managers to configure, manage access to, and deliver detail reporting on, certification exams. Ability to provide partial credit for courses based on the number of hours completed. Ability for learner/user to manage individual profile data points that identify accredited training preferences according to their discipline. Capability for learner/user to find, access and complete an accredited course according to their chosen discipline within the solution and then view an accredited certificate of completion. All interested parties must respond by 11:00 AM EST on December 22nd, 2023 via e-mail.
