Description

The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD A&S), in coordination with Army Contracting Command Rock Island (ACC-RI) are hosting an Industry Day at LMI Headquarters, 7940 Jones Branch Drive, Tysons, VA 22102 on 29 and 30 January 2024. The intent of this Industry Day is for potential vendors to gain a thorough understanding of the types of service required in the Global Protective Services (GPS) program, and the conditions under which they would be expected to perform these services. We recognize the importance of early communication for effective planning. We do not have a finalized agenda at this time but will update the notice as soon it is available. The dates and times posted are preliminary and subject to change as we work towards finalizing the program. Interested parties are asked to provide the following information to usarmy.ria.acc.mbx.gps@army.mil by 22 December 2023 0900 CST. Number of participants: Please indicate the total number of participants from your organization. Names of participants: Please provide the names of individuals attending from your team. Attendance preferences: Please specify whether your participants plan to attend in person or virtually via Zoom. Due to limited capacity at the venue, it may become necessary to impose restrictions on the number of in-person participants per company. This Industry Day Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and all information provided is subject to change. This Notice does not constitute a solicitation (Request for Proposals or Request for Quotations) or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This Industry Day Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the Government is not seeking proposals at this time. Parties responding to the Industry Day Notice are advised that the Government will not pay or make reimbursement for any information or administrative costs incurred in relation to the party�s response to this Notice. The Government will not assume liability or responsibility for costs incurred by any attendee for travel expenses or marketing efforts. All costs and expenses incurred by parties responding to this Industry Day Notice are solely the responding party's responsibility.
