Description
The Army Contracting Command � New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Project Management Office � Combat Ammunition Systems (PM CAS), will host an Industry Day event on 16-17 January 2024. The purpose of the event is to provide an update to technical requirements and program planning on 155mm Munition acceleration and expansion, including 155mm Projectile Load/Assemble/Pack (LAP), Metal Parts, Fuzes, Propellants, Primers, and associated materials. All information presented at the event will not be export controlled and will be Distribution A.� The general session will be held on 16 January 2024 in Building 93, Lindner Conference Center, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey from 0900 to 1030. (The estimated time for the general session may be extended based on the number of presenters)�PM CAS will coordinate the scheduling of all One-on-One sessions, which will take place from 1100-1700 at PM CAS Headquarters, Building 172, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey on 16 January 2024 and 0800-1700 on 17 January 2024. The Industry Day will inform the industrial base on the status of 155mm Munition expansion and potential new U.S. Army requirements to expand production and accelerate delivery of 155mm Projectiles and ancillary equipment. The areas of interest for the Industry Day may include, but is not limited to, the following: M231/M232 Modular Artillery Charge System Acceleration and Capacity Increases Legacy Propellant Interim Solutions � Restart Legacy M119A2 Propellant Charges 155mm LAP, Metal Parts (Current Designs and Modular Artillery for Combat Effectiveness variant), Energetics and Rocket Grains, Inspections, and Components (Supplemental Charges, Metal Containers, Lifting Plugs); Artillery M82 Primers and Fuzes (All Types); Artillery Fuzes:� Multi-Option Fuze for Artillery (MOFA) Production, M762A1/M767A1 Fuze Production; M739A1 Production Acceleration Propellant, Explosives, and Raw Material Industrial Base Investments Munition concepts to extend maximum range beyond what is being achieved by current programs (M795, M1128, XM1113 (all using current M232A2 Modular Artillery Charge System)) Government Owned Contractor Operated (GOCO) Modernization Armament Retooling and Manufacturing Support (ARMS) Tenants Agreements Public/Private Partnership Arrangements Government Technical Data Packages (TDPs) will NOT be released within this Special Notice. If the USG pursues the requirements discussed at the Industry Day, Government TDPs may be released in separate Sources Sought Notices for each effort contemplated. All contractors interested in future solicitations must be registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for an award. Each Business/Organization in attendance will also have the opportunity to request to meet with the Government in planned One-on-One sessions. Each One-on-One session will last no more than thirty (30) minutes to request clarification on information presented during the course of the Industry Day.� These sessions may also be used for company proprietary capability briefs relevant to different 155mm production solutions, short-term solutions, and Innovations in Propellants and Energetics.� The USG reserves the right to reduce the allotted time for the One-on-One session based on the number of interested companies.� Businesses/Organizations interested in attending a One-on-One session must contact the Army Contracting Command point of contact listed below no later than 5 January 2023 with their intentions. Those who have expressed a desire to have a One-on-One session will be provided with the time and location for their respective One-on-One meeting before the Industry Day is held. Further instructions for these One-on-One sessions will be given during the introduction of Industry Day. Businesses/Organizations interested in sending representatives to the Industry Day and participating in the One-on-One sessions shall notify the Amy Sentner, Contracting Officer and Cameron Sacco, Contract Specialist vial�electronic mail (e-mail) ONLY, no later 5:00pm on 29 December 2023 with the following information:�Company Name,�Address, Cage Code, Name(s) of Individual(s) attending, Country of Citizenship, Telephone Numbers�and E-mail Addresses. Each business/organization is limited to a maximum of four representatives.�� REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN VISITORS:� All foreign visitors must comply with the requirements identified in the two attachments.� Coordination is directly between the visitor and each of the POCs from Joint Program Executive Office Armaments & Ammunition and U.S. Army Development Command-Armaments Center that are identified in the attachments.� It is the company's responsibility to comply with the timeframes identified to obtain the necessary approval to attend the event. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This Industry Day is for informational and planning purposes only and shall NOT be construed as a Request for Proposal or White Papers. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with attending this event or any follow-up information requests. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research.
