Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price contract with the large business Cepheid. The procurement is for Cepheid reagents/consumables and service/maintenance. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325413. Since this is service of in-use equipment, this procurement is limited to one source in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a Single Source, as no other supplies with satisfy the Agency s requirement. The anticipated award date: December 27, 2023. This requirement is for: VAMC Fresno, 2615 E Clinton Ave, Fresno, CA 93703. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
