END of�29 NOV 2023 Update� ********************************** Under this Solicitation Notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District issues Solcitation No. W912P624B0002 for bidding purposes.� Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant bid package for the construction project entitled, ""CSSC Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal - Paving and Fencing"" (USACE ACQUISITION). PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will remove existing chain-link and jersey barrier fencing and replace with non-conductive fence installation at the CSSC Fish Barrier site located near 790 East Old Romeo RD., Romeoville, IL. Work will also entail the excavation of existing road access areas and then paving for the road as well as areas within the fenced in portions of the barrier. Existing chain-link and Jersey Barrier fencing will also be placed along property lines in a new location. Paving and fencing areas consist of separated, partitioned areas at and around the property area. CONTRACTING OFFICE: USACE Chicago District, 231 SOUTH LaSALLE STREET, SUITE 1500, Chicago, IL 60604 ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry System Classification Code is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a small business size standard in dollars of $45.0 Million. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Solicitation (Invitation for Bids � �IFB�) will be downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Once the package is released into advertisement at this website (""SAM.gov""), interested bidders may download the full package, to include: specification and drawings files.
