- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract for TRU-D SMARTUVC Preventative Maintenance Service to a SDVOSB, L1 Enterprises Incorporated, 618 W PATRICK ST FREDERICK, MD 21701-4028 for the Memphis VA Health Care System, 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104. The contract is expected to be awarded under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a Single Source. A Justification for Single Source Awards for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. Items peculiar to one manufacturer-The material/service must be compatible in all aspects (forms, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed/performing. The anticipated award date is December 22, 2023. FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, applies to this procurement."" Period of Performance: Base Year: 12/22/2023-09/30/2024 Option Year 1: 10/01/2024-09/30/2025 Option Year 2: 10/01/2025-09/30/2026 Option Year 3: 10/01/2026-09/30/2027 Option Year 4: 10/01/2027-09/30/2028 NAICS code: 811210 SBA Size Standard: $34 M PSC: S216 Statement of Work TRU-D SMARTUVC Service Agreement SCOPE of Work: The purpose of this specification is Preventive Maintenance on the TRU-D Smart UVC equipment. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, and parts necessary to perform the preventive maintenance service agreement on the equipment at the Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC),1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN 38104 WORK REQUIREMENTS: Onsite work shall be accomplished between the hour of 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Sunday in CEG 24 Environmental Services Operation. The (TRU D SMARTUVC) equipment is used for the disinfecting of patient rooms, office, and exam room. A service agreement is needed to maintain proper working capabilities. Service Agreement on call technical support available 24 hours 7 Days a week. TECHNOLOGY: This technology will be available 24 hours 7 days a week TRU-D technician are available via telephone and email. If device requires factory service a loaner unit will be onsite within 72 hours. iPad Mini and iPod door Guard back up onsite 24 hours Hospital site visit annually for preventive maintenance, senor calibration, and device tune up. Complete Bulb Protection Plan and Replacement bulbs at end of bulb life. TRD-D App upgrades as released. Continuous training and education for operators and managers. 48 hours device will be back- in- service with onsite repair (End of Statement of Work) THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within seven calendar days after publication of this notice. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award and must submit a current authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer. All Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and Veteran Owned Small Businesses must submit a self-certifying statement indicating compliance with the Limitation on Subcontracting criteria established in accordance with VAAR 852.219-77 .
