Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Solicitation No.: 140F0S24R0002 Posted Date: 14 December 2023 Response Date: 02 January 2024 Title: Heavy Equipment Idefinite Delivery Indefinite Quanity ( IDIQ ) contract. Classification Code: Set Aside: None NAICS Code: 333120 -- Construction Machinery Manufacturing Synopsis: This requirement is for a service-wide Heavy Equipment Idefinite Delivery Indefinite Quanity (IDIQ) contract. The US Fish and Wildlife Service has 569 National Wildlife Refuges, 37 Wetland Management Districts, 21 Wildlife Management Areas and 70 National Fish Hatcheries distributed throughout the United States whose mission is working with other to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. FWS manages an inventory consisting of approximately 3500 pieces of heavy equipment with an estimated replacement value exceeding $300 million dollars. The use of heavy equipment is vital to FWS supporting conservation land management and fire suppression practices and natural disaster responses. PROJECT SCOPE: The services to be provided is deliver and supply Heavy Equipment Nationally. The performance period will be for a base of one year, and four subsequent one year options. The primary NAICS for this acquisition will be 561210, with a small business size standard of $38.5 million. Additional specifications will be provided in the statement of work, included with the solicitation. PROPOSAL PERIOD: The solicitation is scheduled to be released on or around 03 January 2024. The proposals will be due 30 days after the issuance of the solicitation. The anticipated award date is 26 February 2024. PROPOSAL PROCEDURES: The acquisition will be issued as a full and open, Request for Proposal through SAM.gov. Award shall be made to the responsible Offeror whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the Government, with appropriate consideration given to all evaluation factors. The Government will issue the solicitation via SAM.gov. Proposals will be received in electronic emails only. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by this agency.
