- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION December 15, 2023 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE-SOURCE Sterrad Sterilizers 36C25024Q0194 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Detroit VA Medical Center, VISN 10 Contracting Activity, intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, for the following items listed below. The associated NAICS code for this equipment is 339113. The vendor, Advanced Sterilization Products, is a large business, and is located at 33 Technology Dr., Irvine, CA 92618. Description of equipment requirements: Quantity (2) STERRAD NX ALLClear Technology STERRAD Sterilizers Product number 10033-004-50 utilizing a combination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and low-temperature gas plasma to rapidly and safely sterilize validated medical devices and materials, without leaving toxic residue. Using gas plasma technology with hydrogen peroxide STERRAD Sterilization Systems safely sterilize medical instruments and materials without leaving toxic residue. Quantity (2) STERRAD NX System Carts Product number 10311-50 are required with the Sterilizers.
