SOURCES SOUGHT DISCLAIMER This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this SSN that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this SSN. The purpose of this SSN is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources, size classification and socio-economic status relative to NAICS: 561730, Landscaping Services. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement.� The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, has a need for a service contract for tree removal and pruning service.at Youghiogheny River Lake, Confluence PA. Tree removal for this project will include trees with a variety of different diameters. Stump grinding will be a required for some of those trees removed. Tree pruning will include trees with limbs up to 20 feet above ground. Services shall be completed in accordance with standards in the Performance Work Statement. The contractor shall furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, fuel, and vehicles to perform services. Contractors shall have experience in tree removal and pruning. If you are interested and are capable of providing these services, please provide a capability statement and company name, address, point of contact, size status and socioeconomic status: Small Business (SB), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), 8(a), etc.) Responses must be received no later than Friday, Dec 29, 2023, at 1100 a.m. EST. If a solicitation is issued it shall be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this source sought. Responses to this source sought notice are not a request to be added to a prospective quoters list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
