- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation is set aside for Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotes under solicitation number: 36C26224Q0328 The Department of Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161 is looking to purchase four (4) types of 9mm and .233 small arms ammunition for the police service. The contractor shall furnish all supplies/items to VA San Diego Healthcare System location at 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. This is a brand name requirement. See attached P03 BNJ for details and approval. CLIN ITEM DESCRIPTION QTY UOM 0001 Federal Tactical 9mm Luger 124 gr HST HP 1000 rounds per case 15 CS 0002 Norma USA 9mm 124 gr FMJ 1000 rounds per case 10 CS 0003 Speer Gold Dot Duty Rifle .223 Rem 62 gr GDHP 500 rounds per case 20 CS 0004 ACI AC223-1N .223 55 Grain FMJ 1,000 rounds 10 CS The solicitation will be in accordance with FAR part 12,13, and 19, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Small Business Programs, and Veteran Affairs Acquisition Regulations as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 332992, Size Standard 1,300 Employees. The Contractor Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice shall adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations in effect during the term of this contract. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. The Contract begins on the date of award. Key solicitation milestones are: Submit any questions regarding this procurement via email to Melissa.Ramirez8@va.gov no later than 12pm Pacific Local Time Thursday, January 4th, 2023. No questions will be answered after this date/time unless determined to be in the best interest of the Government as determined by the Contracting Officer. Telephonic questions will not be accepted or returned. RFI responses will be responded to as necessary in amendment format which will be posted to contract opportunities at http://SAM.gov. Due to time constraints, responses to the solicitation shall be due on Tuesday, January 9th, 2023 at 10:00 Pacific Time. Offerors are advised that it is your responsibility to review and monitor the website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including amendments. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. Inquiries after the allotted period may not be responded to due to the time constraints of the procurement. All offerors must be registered in www.SAM.gov to do business with the Government. Ensure your registration is correct, current and has not expired.
