Description

Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services� (DLIS) Joint Certification Program in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or Export Controlled information in Contract Opportunities. See the DLA website for the Joint Certification Program: https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP/. NRL requires engineering support services for Electro-Optic and Infrared (EO/IR) measurements and simulations. The contractor shall perform R&D of EO/IR signatures and susceptibility, EO/IR threat simulators, and other electronic warfare (EW) technologies and concepts for protection of US Navy and Marine Corps platforms. This work encompasses the entirety of an EO/IR threat, from detection through successful countermeasure (CM) to the CM effectiveness assessment (CMEA). The work to be performed is further described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW), titled �CUI � 24RGA03 Draft SOW�. Current Contract: N0017318F2062, Envisioneering, Inc. Contractor Response Format: NRL asks that interested parties, at a minimum, supply the following information via email: Contact Information a) Name of Company and Point of Contact (POC) with associated contact information b) Business Size/Socioeconomic Categories c) Unique Entity ID and/or CAGE Code Technical Information a) List of capabilities/resources relevant to the attached draft SOW b) Prior experience of similar scope/complexity of tasking in the attached draft SOW c) Status of your firm�s current facility clearance d) Any questions/suggestions related to the attached draft SOW Responses should be emailed to the Contract Specialist, Gabrielle Giles, at gabrielle.giles@nrl.navy.mil. No telephonic responses will be accepted. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) for planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Since this is a SSN, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. The Government is not committed to issuing a solicitation or awarding a contract pursuant to this announcement. No solicitation package is available at this time.
