Description

THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT 0001 TO REQUEST FOR QUOTATION 36C25924Q0146 IS TO POST THE VENDOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS. QUESTION AND ANSWERS ARE SEEN BELOW: Q1. Is CLIN 0003 a packing and shipping cart? If so, what are the specifications as there are multiple choices.  A1. CLIN 0003 is for packing and shipping of CLINs 0001 and 0002. Q2. Could you kindly provide guidance on the acceptability of the authorized distributor for this arrangement? A2. The prime contractor must be the authorized distributor. Q3. Is it expected that the carts will be uncrated, and the debris removed at the time of delivery or will the VA uncrate the carts and remove all debris? A3. Warehouse will take care of this. Q4. Does offeror need to provide personnel, handling equipment, or waste services, namely, taking the trash out? A4. The VA has a loading dock and warehouse personnel for this. Q5. The vendor is offering Uncrate and Remove Debris as an option that can be included in the freight total. Is this service requested by the VA for inclusion in the price quote? A4. The VA does not need that requested the warehouse will dispose of the crate. All other provisions and clauses remain unchanged. PLEASE ACKNOLOWEDGE RECEIPT OF AMENDMENT IN RESPONSE.
