- N0016421GWS42 � JOB ORDER N0016424FW016 � SOLE SOURCE - ENGINEERING, LOGISTICS, AND REPAIRS FOR THE EA-18G AND P-8A AN/ALQ-240 SYSTEMS � PSC J016 � NAICS 541330 Issue Date: 17 JANUARY 2024 � Closing Date: 2 FEBRUARY 2024 � 2:30 EST ITEM DESCRIPTION - Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for a new one-year Job Order for engineering, logistics, and repair services associated with the EA-18G and P-8A AN/ALQ-240 systems, and all variants/derivatives of these systems in support of the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) division. The anticipated award date is July 2024. The primary place of performance will be at the contractor facility in Linthicum Heights, MD. The proposed contract action is for the services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation 1580B W Nursery RD MS B585 Linthicum Heights MD 21090-2202, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition is that the time and cost would be duplicated to test and qualify another vendor�s parts make it impracticable to procure from anyone other than Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of re-evaluating the justification for sole source and making a determination to change the acquisition strategy to a competitive procurement. Solicitations and amendments for this sole source action will not be posted to sam.gov and are available only from the POC identified below. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
