- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Spain will launch the solicitation on the https://es.usembassy.gov/request-for-bids/ when it is available. No responses are requested by this notice. The US Embassy Madrid is going to procure for the supply, installation and removal of window grills and bar sets in Government Leased Quarters in Madrid, Spain.� The Government plans to issue the solicitation the week of February 5, 2024 The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor.� The Government may award the contract based on initial offers without discussion. The resultant contract will be a requirements type contract with firm fixed price line items. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess all permits and licenses required to do business in Spain.� All offerors will be required to provide proof that they already possess said permits as part of their offer. All offerors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. Instructions on how to submit the offer will be included in the solicitation.
