Description
W912WJ19D0005 Notice of Intent Synopsis: THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to increase capacity of Environmental Services Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, W912WJ19D0005. This increase in capacity of $350,000 (from $3,000,000 to $3,350,000) is so that the contractor, Mabbett & Associates, Inc., can complete performance on the existing contract Task Orders. The current contract does not have sufficient capacity to allow for continued environmental services at Formerly Utilized Defense Sites (FUDS) Former Fort Hancock and Blue Beach as scoped under the existing contract. Contract No. W912WJ19D0005 NAICS Code: 541 -- Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services/541330 � Engineering Services Increase in Capacity for Environmental Services IDIQ Contract The work will consist of environmental support of the following two main program areas for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New England District: 1) ongoing Remedial Investigation through Decision Document and site closure at Former Fort Hancock located in Sandy Hook, NJ and 2) ongoing Remedial Investigation through Decision Document and site closure at Blue Beach in North Kingston, RI. The additional capacity on the existing 2019 Hazardous Toxic Radiological Waste (HTRW) IDIQ Contract is required to ensure that the ongoing remedial investigation field work and risk assessment work at Fort Hancock and Blue Beach can be completed in accordance with the FUDS work plans. All responsible sources may submit a response, which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. It is a market research tool being used to determine the availability of other qualified sources that can meet the requirements identified above. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice of intent. All responses received within 14 days of the posting of this notice, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
