- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR subpart 5.1 and 5.2, FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice.� The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) - The proposed contract action is for a brand name only. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification or documentation is attached. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued.� PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.� This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on (https://Sam.Gov/). The solicitation number is N4008524Q2505 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This is the only RFQ for this requirement, it includes all the terms, and conditions as well as applicable FAR and DFARS clauses and provisions with respect to the anticipated purchase order. �This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-02, effective January 22, 2024. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: https://www.acquisition.gov/far/ and https://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/index.html. �The NAICS code is 611519 and the Small Business Standard is $21 million. This requirement is being procured as Unrestricted. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a Sole Source basis to BEI Tactical LLC, 118 Pennsylvania Ave., Virginia Beach, VA 23462, USA, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). � Responsible parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, or submit a quote by the date and time specified. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Naval Facilities Engineering System Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic requires BEI Tactical LLC to provide four (4) tailored skilled trades training courses in the areas of small engine repair, basic plumbing, basic carpentry and basic electrical for the Navy and its seabees. The contractor shall provide all training, materials, and location for the courses. Period of Performance: The anticipated Period of Performance is February 5, 2024 through April 19, 2024.
