- Description
- **The project number has been updated from CL23348001 to CL24022001. ********************************************************************************** The following Request for Information/Sources Sought Notice (RFI/SSN) is in regard to the Amphibious Combat Vehicle/Ground Combat Vehicle-Integrated Platform Support (GCV&ACV-IPS) contract which the government intends to award as a requirements type sole-source procurement. All NSNs associated with this acquisition are sole sourced to various CAGEs that are part of BAE Systems Land and Armaments, L.P. There is a total of 1,214 NSNs in the list. Please disregard the solicitation number SPE7LX-23-R-0082 on the document it is not a valid solicitation number and is only used here for illustrative purposes. The purpose of this RFI/SSN is to determine potential additional sources for this consumables requirement and to request industry feedback on the included draft Request for Proposal (RFP) to assist in the development and defining of the requirement. Particular input is requested in the following areas: Identify which part numbers on the attached list are typically sold as part of the next higher assembly. Delivery turnaround in support of consumable parts in the present marketplace Period of Performance and the pricing / payment structure of long-term agreements for commercial consumable items in the commercial marketplace, to support the items on the solicitation. Explain how your company will incorporate small business participation in your proposal. While this this RFI/SSN exclusively concerns class IX consumable material for current variants of ground combat and amphibious combat vehicles, there is the possibility that, in the future, this effort may be expanded to include future vehicle variants. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The purpose of this RFI is to determine suitability of current industry capabilities. DLA Land and Maritime intends to use information resulting from the RFI responses to aid in refining its acquisition strategy, budgeting assumptions, and set-aside determination. Please submit all your questions and comments concerning this RFI/SSN by 16 January 2024 to contracting officer Carol Bucher at carol.bucher@dla.mil.
