Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is requesting information from interested parties on the acquisition of compressed Gas Cylinders, delivered, filled with certain gasses. It is anticipated that this acquisition will be made under NAICS 325120, Industrial Gas Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. It is anticipated that this will be stand alone, firm fixed price commercial purchase. This Request for Information (RFI) is interested in assessing the capabilities of potential vendors and determining potential set asides. Potential set asides include, but are not limited to: Total Small Business, Woman-Owned, HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged, Economically-Disadvantaged, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises. Reclamation is requesting that vendors who are interested respond to this request for information with the following items: 1. Provide feedback on the draft description of requirements: a. Is the description of tank size sufficient to quote on? i. If not, please recommend a better product description format, or list what needed information is missing. b. Are the abbreviations of gas types sufficient to quote on? 2. Provide the vendor company information, contact information, Unique Entity Identifier Number (UEI), Capabilities statements, and any experience in performing these services that is relevant to this RFI, and any set-asides the vendor is eligible for and certified for in SAM.gov 3. Answer if there are any laws or regulations that would prevent your company from distribution in geographical area. 4. Suggest any other direct costs, materials costs, or other reimbursable items that should be added to the Price schedule. a. Would it be more appropriate to price delivery per unit, or by entire purchase? 5. Provide any comments, suggestions, or feedback with could improve the draft statement of work. 6. Please advise if you feel there is a more appropriate NAICS code for this procurement. Please submit your responses and information to Terra Warren, Bureau of Reclamation, twarren@usbr.gov by Feb 8th, 2024. This request for information is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of the submission of contractor's information. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Responses to this request for information will not be returned and electronic submission via email is required. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government or form a binding contract.
