- BLM-CO Southwest District (SWD) Janitorial This is a solicitation for janitorial services at our SWD Facilities in Montrose, CO. The resulting award is planned to be issued in March with a desired start date for services on 1 April 2024. Please monitor this site and follow the solicitation for announcements and changes. Pre-bid Site Visit: A hosted pre-bid site visit has been scheduled for Feb 6, 2024 at 09:00 and 13:00. You may plan to attend either one. Please RSVP to the Contract Specialist Amy Bondy - abondy@blm.gov and Contracting Officer Robert Hall - rhall@blm.gov if you plan to attend and to which time. A back up meeting has been scheduled for the following week, but is for a weather cancellation only. If you miss the first one, there will be no additional site visits. If there are any changes to the schedule, they will be posted here. SAM Registration: SAM registration and update requirements have significantly changed over the past two years. The DUNS number is obsolete and has transitioned to the Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), two factor authentication for log-ons were added, and the validation step has experienced many issues. Check your SAM now and update if required. If you need assistance, there is free help available at your local APEX (formerly known as PTAC) - See https://www.aptac-us.org/ to find yours. Short Description of requirement: Daily and weekly cleaning of 4 buildings (two main, one warehouse, and a workshop) with a total of approximately 17,411 SF. General tasks will be vacuuming floors, sweeping, mopping, dusting, coffee bar and restroom cleaning. Frequency varies according to the time of year and season. Performance Work Statement is posted as Attachment 1. Type of Contract: Performance Based Firm Fixed Price with a Base year and 4 year options. Period of Performance - April 2024 - March 2029. Incumbent: There is currently no incumbent, but the most recent contract was 140L1720P0008 for a total contract value of $204,814.03 for three years. The final two years were not optioned by the Government due to management decisions. Since the spring of 2023, the janitorial services have been performed in house by Government personnel. Basis of Award - Price and Other Factors (past performance, technical merit, transition plan). Minimum Requirements for a Responsive Proposal: 1. Filled in, priced and signed SF1449. First pages of the solicitation. 2. Detailed, tailored and specific Technical Response. 3. Email Items 1 and 2 in two volumes to the POCs no later than the offers due date.
