Description
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, Varian Medical Systems, Inc., located at 3290 Northside Parkway, Suite 400 Atlanta, GA 30327: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 0001 ARIA Radiation Oncology HIT4549 Essentials 1 YR 0002 TPS Eclips HIT4519 - Essentials 1 YR 1001-4002 Option Years 4 YR The Radiation Oncology software manages departmental, administrative, and clinical activities. It also provides for the scheduling of clinical activities, and activities for billing purposes. The Eclipse Treatment Planning System is used to plan radiotherapy treatments for patients with malignant, or benign diseases. The Eclipse TPS is highly specialized software used by medical professionals trained in radiation dosimetry for patients considered suitable for radiotherapy by an oncologist. Eclipse is used to plan external beam irradiation with photon electron and proton beams, as well as for internal irradiation treatments. Software support for Varian Software already in use at the Oklahoma VA Healthcare System (OKC VAHS). The software that is being covered by this contract is ARIA Radiation Oncology, TPS Eclipse Essentials Services, and will include software updates, help desk support, maintenance, and trainings. The ARIA Radiation Oncology and TPS Eclipse software is currently in use at the OKC VAHS and has been since 2012, with the most current version being upgraded in early 2023. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 513210 and the Business Size Standard is $47.0 Million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday, February 5, 2024. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to chris.hollingsworth@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
