Description: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL In accordance with FAR 5.203(a) Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment OUSD(A&S), intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) Systems and Analyses Center (SAC). This IDIQ is the sponsor contract for IDA SAC as a Federal Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC).�Under this IDIQ, the IDA SAC will conduct research in national security and science policy areas with an objective analysis leveraging scientific, technical, and analytic expertise.� �The research will assist the Department of Defense and other agencies in addressing national security issues, including systems and technologies at all stages of development, deployment, and use. This research and analyses will require a deep understanding of performance, mission capabilities and costs, the underlying technologies, the information environment, the supporting infrastructure, and related intelligence matters.� This is NOT a request for proposals and requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.�
