Description
The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of PM Soldier Lethality is conducting a market research to identify sources/vendors capable of supplying M134 7.62�51mm rotary machine gun weapon system along with mounting systems for various air/water/ground platforms, parts, accessories, support equipment, installation and training for operators and maintainers. Parts and accessories will include power supplies, spare part kits, spare barrels, support equipment should include maintenance kits and special tools packages. In responding to this Market Survey respondents should provide the following information: A detailed description of your capability to deliver M134 systems, mounting systems, parts, accessories, and support equipment listed above. A list of the platforms the weapons system is can be mounted on along with a description of the mounting systems and qualification information.� Also provide Air Worthiness Release (IAW AR 70-62) information for all air platform configurations (C/M-47 and U/M-60 at a minimum).� A description of your capability to install the M134 and mounting system on the above platforms within the continental US and well as outside the continental US. A detailed description of the training courses to support training requirements within the continental US as well as outside the continental US.� Details should include technical descriptions, list of components, available warranties, pricing data if available. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interest and capability to satisfy the above requirements by identifying the following items: 1. Company Name 2. Company Address 3. Company point of contact, email address and phone number 4. Major partners or Suppliers 5. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 332994. With small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Based on this information is your business considered a small business?� If so, please identify as either Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone concern, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Small Business Please provide DUNS number and cage code. 6. Identify lead time, including supplier/design qualification efforts and production ramp up time.� Also identify minimum order quantities required to fulfill delivery orders. 11. Provide rough indication of pricing and any pricing data. 12. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions. This Sources Sought is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY and should NOT be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) to be submitted. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information, sample hardware or administrative costs incurred in the response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP or other solicitation (if any are issued). The US Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. No phone calls will be accepted, all requests need to be submitted via email. All information is to be submitted at NO COST or obligation to the U.S. Government. All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government.
