- This posting is to seek sources and see if small business representation is available. This is posting is not requesting an offer or pricing for any supply or service items, but is for the purposes of market research to determine if there is small business interest or capability for the establishment of Blanket Purchase Agreements for unprepared (whole) perishable and non-perishable food items. No contract award will result from a response to this posting.� The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC), in Alpena Michigan is interested in the establishment of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with food suppliers for the purchasing of perishable and non-perishable food in support of the Alpena CRTC, MI. PLEASE NOTE, a BPA is not a binding contract, but are agreements. Thus, prices must be set prior to any orders being placed against the BPA. Additionally, since it is an agreement and not a contract, either party had the choice to terminate the agreement, provided a 30-day notice is given. BPAs Period of Performance (PoP) can range from one (1) to a five (5) year period unless terminated by either party, or the BPA Master Dollar Limit has been met. The intention is to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with supplier that has the capabilities of supporting the Alpena CRTC mission. The companies will be required to deliver the products to the base location when requested by the Contracting Officer and/or the personnel designated by the Contracting Officer. Deliveries will typically be required within 24-48 hours after placement of orders. Food items will be required during base exercises, and volume will vary based on the scale of the exercise. Orders are anticipated to be placed infrequently during non-peak months (October through January), and frequently during peak training months (February through September). In order to conduct business with the Government under a Blanket Purchase Agreement, the suppliers are required to register and maintain an active account with SAM.gov. Failure to register and maintain an active account would eliminate the business opportunity of establishment or continuation of a Blanket Purchase Agreement. The Government intends to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements, with an anticipated Performance Period of 5 Years and Maximum Aggregate Values between $250,000.00 and $900,000.00. The anticipated individual order maximum is anticipated to be $25,000.00.� Interested vendors should respond to this posting via email to the Points of Contact listed in the posting by the close of the posting. Vendors are encouraged, but not required, to provide capability briefs for the requested item types. Responding to this posting does not guarantee the establishment of a BPA.
