- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 2, Buffalo VAMC Campus, VA Western New York Research Building Room 210, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), brand name only, sole source action. Name of Contractor: Draeger, Inc. Street Address: 3135 Quarry Road City, State, Zip: Telford, PA 18969 GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: VA Research and Development equipment of a refurbished Draeger Fabius GS Premium anesthesia machine. Type of Contract Contemplated: Firm Fixed Price SCOPE The scope of work is the delivery of a refurbished Drager Fabius GS Premium anesthesia machine. The equipment will be in University at Buffalo CTRC rm 7036 at 875 Ellicott St, per the PI s partial off-site waiver. REQUIREMENT/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/SPECIFICATIONS Common Nomenclature: Refurbished Draeger Fabius GS Premium anesthesia machine. Intended use: The scope of this work is the delivery of a refurbished Draeger Fabius GS Premium anesthesia machine. The equipment will be in University at Buffalo CTRC room 7036 at 875 Ellicott St, per the PI s partial off-site waiver. Other pertinent information that describes the item, material or service required: Refurbished Draeger Fabius GS Premium anesthesia machine. System Description Anesthesia Machine with ventilation versatility, compact and convenient breathing system, electronic gas-flow measurement, and ergonomic design. Specifications The vendor shall supply instrumentation that meets or exceeds the following specifications: Ventilation: Electronically driven and controlled ventilator with pressure support and manual/spontaneous modes Gas-flow measurement: Vertical flow controls and electronic fresh gas flow indicators. Fresh gas data is exported to information system and promotes the use of low-flow anesthesia. Breathing system: Flexible, ergonomic design allows for optimal positioning of semi-closed breathing system and ability to adjust height and use from left or right. Ease of cleaning. Cables: Multimedia parameter module reduces cable clutter. Pick and Go capabilities aid transport with automatic reconfiguration. Mounting Platform: Choice of fixed-mount monitoring or Pick and Go for flexibility and efficiency Physical size: Base unit: 224 lb., dimensions 35.2x51.2x32.3 Power Supply: 100-240 VCA, 50/60 Hz, 2.3 A max Battery >45 minutes Breathing Frequency: 4-60 bpm Max Minute Volume: 25L/min Positive End-Expiratory Pressure: 0-20 cmH2O Inspiration / Expiration Ratio:4:1 to 1:4 DELIVERY: All Deliveries shall be coordinated prior to shipment with Ms. Cynthia Tatta. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 60 days ARO BILLING/INVOICING: Billed upon receipt of product. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government. All capability statements must be received by no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on February 29, 2024. Responses to be submitted to Chad M. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
