Description

Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI 48045, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary for the Construction of VGLZ 242006 Replace MV Feeder 1 from SW1-6 to SW1-12� The primary tasks of subject project are to remove, demolish and dispose of medium voltage cables and install new 133% EPR insulation level medium voltage copper cables (5/15 kV) 500 KCMIL copper cables (3) with #4/0 copper ground conductor from SW1-6 to SW1-12 using existing duct banks. �The contractor shall also properly tag and fireproof their work as needed. �The old cables are very old and contain lead and shall be handled and disposed of properly. �The Contractor shall also provide 3rd party testing for all cables, submit report before energizing
