Answers will be provided to industry via SAM.gov by Thursday, March 21, 2024.� Internal Revenue Service (IRS) User Network Service (UNS) / Unified Communications (UC) Enterprise Wireless and Voice Services Support Request for Information (RFI) Introduction This is a Request for Information (RFI) (hereinafter Notice). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, request for bids or quotations, nor a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The purpose of this RFI is for the Government to obtain knowledge and information for project planning purposes only. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in responses to this Notice, unless otherwise appropriately marked by the Respondent. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information received in response to this Notice in any resultant solicitation(s). Do Not Submit any Proposals/Offers in response to this Notice. The Government has interest in and is seeking information regarding the capability of providing services pertaining to creating new specialized tax training courses, assessing existing Agency training courses, and strategic tax advisory services. Request for Information Number: �24-IRA-026-OITA Project Title / Short Description:� UNS/UC Enterprise Wireless and Voice Services Support PSC or FSC Code:� DF01: IT AND TELECOM - IT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES (LABOR) NAICS Codes: 541519 - Other Computer Related Services Release Date: �March 12, 2024 Response Date: �March 29, 2024, 5:00pm EST Primary Point of Contact and Contact Information: Name:� Tanya Outland Title:� Front Door Liaison Email:� Tanya.E.Outland@irs.gov UNS/UC Wireless and Voice Services support IRS UNS/UC is looking for vendors who can provide experienced contractors to support its UNS/UC Enterprise Wireless and Voice Services team. The contractor shall provide administrative, technical, and operational IT support as indicated in description of services below. The contractor shall also utilize the IRS work incident management trouble ticket process to resolve customer problems with IT wireless equipment and distribution of IT wireless supplies. This support includes all wireless and voice services and support for all end users. Contractor staff shall also support UNS/UC in the management of assets in the field as part of its normal operations. Description of Services The contractor shall provide experienced and qualified staff support to various IRS locations for UNS/UC Enterprise Wireless and Voice Services. Support services includes administrative, technical, and operational IT support for programs including but not limited to Microsoft Teams Mobile, O365 Mobile and Apple -based products to include Apple iPhone, Apple iOS and Apple Business Manager. This support shall include resolving customer problems associated with IT projects within the Enterprise, including UNS, Enterprise Operations (EOPS), Secure Enterprise Messaging System (SEMS) and Criminal Investigation (CI) business units. The contractor staff shall provide support to the UNS /UC Voice Services organization for the deskside incident management process and routine replacement and distribution of IT Wireless devices when needed to fulfill project requirements and/or incident submission. The contractor shall also utilize the IRS work incident management trouble ticket process to resolve customer problems with IT wireless equipment and distribution of IT wireless supplies. �� The contractor shall provide support for resolving customer problems with their wireless IT equipment, including iPads, Smartphones, and hot spots. The contractor shall also provide support for break/fix and routine replacement of equipment, maintain electronic inventory, surplus inventory, and ensure replacement equipment performs as required. RFI Instructions Responses to this RFI are requested in three (3) parts and must be submitted using Attachment 2 RFI Response Template. Part I: Company Profile - IRS seeks company profile information about the firms that provide services positioned to address the requirements discussed above. Part II: Capability - IRS seeks Industry responses to specific questions. Do not include any support documentation for any company other than your own. This is an analysis of your company�s abilities. Part III: Questions and Comments � IRS will accept open questions and comments. What labor categories do you think are applicable to each task, and why? What level of expertise would those resources have? What hourly rates would your company charge for the different levels of expertise needed? What is a ballpark estimated price to successfully deliver these requirements? Experience/Expertise Does this request lend itself to a contractor that is a large business or small business? Does business size matter when it comes to meeting this requirement? What is your company�s prior experience with this or similar requirements? What level of education or certification would your team members offer? What are the average years of experience of the team members your company would assign to this potential contract? General Please provide any additional insights that would help us craft the requirement(s) to best meet our need?
