Description: Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) Portsmouth, VA intends to procure required services for transportation of radioactively contaminated material and equipment shipments from NNSY to Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (KAPL) Kesselring Site Operations (KSO).��The radioactively contaminated equipment is stored in its own NNSY provided metal or wood shipping containers.��This service is required to ensure NNSY�s ability to ship radioactive materials and support the shipyard�s mission and core capabilities.
