- The purpose of the ARA is to integrate multiple combinations of advanced sensors, processing, and exploitation capabilities focused on C4ISR onto various weapon systems. THIS IS AN ADVANCED RESEARCH ANNOUNCEMENT (ARA) THAT WILL SOLICIT REQUIREMENTS THROUGH CALLS FOR PROPOSALS. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT POSTS THE BASIC ARA AND DOES NOT REQUIRE PROPOSALS AT THIS TIME.�� �Amendment 1 to the basic ARA provides updated Points of Contact.
