Description
This is a sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research. The USDA APHIS is seeking all interested sources capable of providing Agilent xCELLigence RTCA MP Instrument system or Equal system.USDA intens to issue a one time purchase forreal-time cell-based assay system. the restulr of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The size standard for this code is 1000 employees for determination of small business status. The specifications for the product are as follows: Agilent (Manufacturer)xCELLigence RTCA System is a real-time cell-based assay system or Equal product Must Have Specifications (Salient Characteristics) Label-free: Impedance based biosensor technology does not require markers or dyes. Real-time kinetic readouts: Obtain data continuously over assay windows that stretch from seconds todays. 6 96-well format: Run up to six 96-well plates simultaneously or independently to maximize productivity. System can finish reading the whole E-Plate 96 (96 wells) within 15 seconds, which allows the system to capture the kinetics of fast cell responses in a 96-well format. Simultaneously monitor up to six plates, without scheduling conflicts. Live cell imaging in oneexperiment. Suitable for many different cellular analysis applications with excellent accuracy andreproducibility Integrated data analysis tools facilitate processing large amounts of real-time data. These include diverse plot types and the calculation of parameters, such as IC50 or KT50. Inter-digitated gold electrode pattern covers approximately 70-80% of the surface area of E-Plate wells, thus maximizing sensitivity and reproducibility. Povides at least 6 independent cradles which can be operate independently allowing multiple users running experiments in parallel, or a single user running six 96-well plate on the same instrument with increased throughput. The dynamic range of the system approaches 2 logs of cell growth from 100 cells per well to confluence (depending on cell type). Can be placed in a standard tissue culture incubator and is specifically designed to withstand the high temperature and humidity. E-Plate View 96 are uniquely designed so cells can be imaged directly on the devices through a specially designed area using a standard laboratory microscope Can be used for a broad range of research applications, including cell proliferation, cytotoxicity, cell adhesion, RTK, GPCR, RNAi functional assays, immune cell killing activity, ADCC, CDC, viral CPE, viral neutralizing antibody detection, bacterial toxin neutralizing antibody detection, parasite motility assay, and biofilm formation. Allows for the glass E-Plate 96, E-Plate 96 View, and plastic E-Plate 96 View PET Plate to be used interchangeably. Allows the assessment of liquid tumor killing in conjunction with Agilents Liquid Tumor killing assay kits optimized/validated for Daudi, Raji, Ramos, MEC2, K562, HEL 92.1.7, NALM6, RS4:11, RPMI8226, THP-1. Software package is fully integrated into the control software and offers specialized algorithms such as slope, cell index doubling time, and EC50/ IC50 calculations based on maximum cell index, minimum cell index, area under the curve, and time dependent cell index values. Software Immunotherapy module can be fully integrated into the control software and offers specialized Antibody-Dependent Cytolysis and Cell-Mediated Cytotoxicity experiment templates for Immune Oncology studies. Additional immunotherapy specific software functions are included. For examples, displaying effector to target cell (E:T) ratios and % cytolysis, calculating KT20, KT40, KT50, KT60, KT80 (time required for achieving 20%, 40%, 50%, 60% and 80% Software must be 21 CFR Part 11 compliant Instrumentation and consumables are manufactured under ISO 9001 Purpose: This requirement is forUSDA-APHIS-WS-National Wildlife Research Center Wildlife Disease Diagnostic Laboratory in fort collins, CO. They are thehome to the Wildlife Disease Diagnostic Laboratory. Cell-based assays are used to detect pathogens, and are often considered to be gold-standard methods. The Agilent xCelligence utilizes impedance based-measurements to noninvasively characterize the effect of pathogenic microorganisms on cells in such assays. The ability to conduct real-time analysis of cells (RTCA) with the xCelligence will facilitate WDDLs ability quantitatively assess cell number, proliferation rate, cell size/shape, and cell-substrate attachment quality. The assays used by the NWRC will be identical to those developed at the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center which exclusively uses the xCelligence. Thus, without acquiring this instrument, the specific microbial diagnostic assays needed will not be able to be performed at WDDL. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ There is no solicitation currently. This is only a sources sought notice for market research purposes; responses will be used to determine whether this requirement may be set-aside for small business or procured through full and open competition. Please note that preference will be given to domestic sources in any future solicitations. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quote; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If you are an interested vendor, please provide the following information: 1) Business name and contact information 2) Business Size and confirmation of registration in SAM.gov by providing your SAM UEI Code 3) Capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of meeting specifications listed above4) Product Country of Origin. Electronic responses are required. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Interested parties who provide this product in accordance with the specifications provided are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice no later than 04/01/2024 at 10AM CT. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to Kim Yen Tuat, Kimyen.n.tu@usda.gov
