- Description
- The purpose of this synopsis is to publicize the forthcoming acquisition for Grounds Maintenance Services. This acquisition is to provide Grounds Maintenance Services for Sheppard Air Force Base (SAFB), Texas, Frederick Auxiliary Airfield, OK, located approximately 65 miles Northwest of SAFB, Texas and SAFB Annex at Lake Texoma in Grayson County, TX, located approximately 118 miles Northeast of SAFB and 8 miles North of Sandusky, Texas.� The service provider shall provide non-personal service to include all personnel, equipment, tools, quality control, supervision and other items and services to provide grounds maintenance services. The 82nd Contracting Squadron anticipates issuing a competitive solicitation for a firm fixed-price contract 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The solicitation number is FA302024Q0011. The projected performance period is a five-year ordering period from 01 October 2024 to 30 September 2029. The current Grounds Maintenance Services contract is due to expire 30 September 2024. In accordance with FAR Subpart 19.1405, this potential acquisition is 100% set-aside for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561730, Landscaping Services.� The size standard is $9.5 million The solicitation along with additional documents (Performance Work Statement, Blank Price Exhibits, Wage Determination, etc.) will be released approximately 19 April 2024. The solicitation and subsequent amendments will be publicized through the SAM website at https://sam.gov/content/home Contractors are solely responsible for monitoring the Internet to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Paper copies and/or electronic mail of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will not be provided under any circumstances.
