Description: The purpose of this requirement is to schedule a service visit with Bruker AXS to diagnose and repair the D4 Endeavor XRD system located in the silica lab at the PSHTC.� This laboratory is responsible for measuring the amount of respirable crystalline silica present in the air in metal-nonmetal (MNM) mines.� This task is an integral part of MSHA Health Enforcement function.� Approximately 3,000+ sample and quality assurance analyses are performed each year on MNM mine dust samples by the PSHTC Lab.�
