- Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD), Federal Highway Administration will be hosting a Construction Contractor conference in Spokane, WA on May 1, 2024 at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel. WFLHD is a division office of the Office of Federal Lands Highway (FLH), assists federal land management agencies and other partners with full-service planning, design and construction of highway and bridge projects that provide access to national forests, national parks, tribal lands and other public lands. Our staff are frequently on?site throughout WFLHD territory, which includes Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana and northwest Wyoming. We have a long history working on state and local highways, roads and bridges throughout these states. The objective of the Contractor Conference is to promote collaboration with contractors who have worked with or interested in working on WFLHD projects.� This event will provide contractors and WFL representatives with a forum to discuss current issues, developing trends, and future opportunities in highway construction. The goal of this event is to share information on an informal basis and encourage feedback that will provide better consistency and quality on upcoming WFLHD projects.
