Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis for the procurement of one Electronic Turning Tool, P/N: RC2045G04, with Rhinestahl CTS., CAGE 5QE71. This procurement shall be conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and is in support of the KC-130J Program. The Government intends to solicit this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this pre-solicitation synopsis. Active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is mandatory in order to be considered for award of any Department of Defense contract. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Governmetn is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received in response to this synopsis. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice via email, no later than 19 April 2024 at 11:00 A.M. EDT to Mairen Flanagan at mairen.e.flanagan.civ@us.navy.mil.
