Description
The General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Services (FAS), Assisted Acquisition Services Division (AASD) APEX 2, Sector 1, is seeking experienced vendors/contractor sources for a requirement from the U.S. Army Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office, Redstone Arsenal AL. This requirement is to procure services in support of the Tube Launched, Optically-tracked, Wire-guided (TOW) Improved Target Acquisition Systems (ITAS) Mobile Collective Skills Trainer (M-CST). The overall mission objective is to provide transportation, maintenance, setup-take down of the trailer as required to meet the needs of the TAGM Program. The CST appears and performs much like a 53 over-the-road common carrier trailer and conforms to the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations of size and weight while in transit. Once at a deployment location, the vehicle utilizes computer controlled hydraulics to level the chassis and expand its footprint. On-board power generation, a high capacity fuel system, climate controls and high speed IT infrastructure yields the ability to offer continual training at diverse sites and under extreme environmental conditions. Upon completion of the training event at each designated location, the contractor shall prepare the M-CST, returning it to a ready to travel configuration, for transportation to the next designated location. The contractor shall provide training support materials that will be issued to students at the end of each event. The contractor shall also provide all maintenance required to keep the trailer fully operational for each trip. The period of performance will be five years, which consists of a one-year base period and four, one-year options and a six-month extension period in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.
